Northumbria University will be offering an International Training Week in person again this year. The event will take place from 7-9 of November at our City Campus in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We will also have a hybrid study abroad fair with an online version on Thursday 10 November for those who cannot join us in Newcastle (separate registration at no cost and unlimited placed available).  

The Theme of this year’s event is “The Future of International Careers”. In this version of our popular ITW we would like to invite you to discuss how recent events have impacted the direction professional employability skills needed for the workplace are taking. We'll offer sessions on the future of global jobs and industries and how higher education institutions, and particularly Careers professionals, can support learners via a series of interventions, including international mobility opportunities, particularly for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. 

An important part of our ITW is the Study Abroad Fair, which will also be held in person this year. This is a great opportunity for our partners to promote their institutions with our students and encourage them to apply and visit them in 2023-24. We will also include a trip to Northumberland and a city tour of Newcastle to make you acquainted with this fantastic city and region.
