The London Local Authority is preparing a proposal with the following Project objectives:

  • Using low grade energy sources
  • Upgrading low grade energy sources
  • Decarbonisation of the economy and promoting renewable energy
  • Improving the efficiency of the energy system
  • Enabling the participation of consumers in the energy system transition
  • Providing EU consumers -households and businesses – with secure, sustainable, competitive and affordable energy

 

The London Local authority has already undertaken:

  • Energy master planning across the municipality
  • Feasibility study
  • Temperature monitoring of the canal

 

The project activities will include the designing and building of the project, and enabling an energy centre.
