THE AWARD, IN SHORT

1/ Scope of the event:

All European and Chinese cities/urban areas with a project aimed at building a sustainable city may participate.

40 European and Chinese cities will be selected among the applications sent before the 31^st of July 2016.

For each category, 1 European city and 1 Chinese city will be awarded – both cities will receive their award together.

2/ Organizers:

Europe : Fondation Prospective et Innovation

China: China Center for Urban Development

3 / Evaluation criteria:

Cities will be selected upon examination of their file.

Local authorities will be evaluated according to qualitative and quantitative information given in their application file. The fuller the file is, the more chances local authorities have to be awarded and chosen by the jury.

The size of the cities is not taken into account.

- Boost exchanges between your local authority and other European and Chinese cities

- Take advantage of international media partners to promote your local authority and laureate projects

Announcement of results to the Awards-winners cities: September 15^th 2016

Award ceremony and Gala dinner: December 9^th to 11^th 2016

3/ Participation terms and conditions

To be awarded, the city must commit to send a representative at the award ceremony that will be held on December 9^th to 11^th 2016, during the CINEV Show in Shenzhen. The representatives are invited to the gala dinner and to all official activities during the 3 days of the CINEV show[1].

4/ Proceeding of the award ceremony and the CINEV show

The award ceremony is one of the highlights of the CINEV Show, and will be presided by Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Former French Prime Minister and President of the Fondation Prospective et Innovation, and by LI Tie, Director general of the China Center for Urban Development.

It takes place during a gala dinner that will gather political decision-makers and entrepreneurs as well as European and Chinese experts of the sustainable city.

Awarded cities are invited to introduce their projects during conferences and workshops, and to take part in the CINEV Show’s events

To enjoy specific visibility in the exhibition area as well as “B to B” meetings programs, we propose a specific “City Promotion Package”. Prices and offers on request, please contact:
